Hello Quilters,

I am back from market but my head is still swimming with all the new fabrics, patterns, books and notions.  I have so many new things on order I will only be able to share a few of them each week.  Just to give you an idea here are some of the goodies that will be in the shop and online soon

- Original Indigo Fabrics from South Africa

- Aboriginal designs from MS Textiles in Australia

- Hand stitchery from Australia

- A new Aurifil Thread Cabinet from Italy filled with 126 colors of our favorite 50 weight cotton

- Tonga Treats from Indonesia and Timeless Treasures. These are definitely eye candy ... there are packages of 10" batik squares and 2 1/2" strips in wonderful color combinations.

- Oh so soft flannels from a fairly new fabric company named Riley Blake; their designs are fresh and contemporary. I've ordered flannels that are suitable for just about everyone.

- In the next few weeks we will get a great Halloween collection called "Seen on Halloween" from Maywood Studios. Several designers used this collection in samples at market so I just had to order the entire collection.

- Terry Atkinson of Atkinson designs has introduced a collection of 14" zippers in a rainbow of 24 colors, these will sell for less than a dollar each and work perfectly for all sorts of projects

This quilt is one of the prettiest quilts I have ever seen.  There are many industry leaders supporting this program in cooperation with Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative - Raising Awareness & Funding Research through art. There are many products being developed to support this block of the month program

Judy Niemeyer Classes

As promised I meet with Judy Niemeyer at Quilt Market to set all the details for her teaching engagement in Panama City February 5 - 12, 2011. I will be posting full details in the next two weeks but we will be having a variety of classes ranging from half day to two day workshops.
