Marti Michell loves Aurifil thread and we do too! Marti in fact is now a spokesperson for Aurifil. Our favorite piecing thread is Aurifil 50 weight and once you try it you won't want to switch. Black, Gray, and Variegated Gray would be perfect to complete this quilt.

Template Sets M & S - Your block kits include paper copies of the templates you'll need but if you like working with templates you'll want to order Marti Michell's Perfect Patchwork Template set M and S. About Patchwork Party:
Patchwork Party began in 2006 and is the brainchild of Deb Lutrell. Twice a year, a fabric line is chosen and Marti Michell of From Marti, designs 12 blocks from the chosen fabric line. Each of the 12 participating quilt shops is assign one of the blocks to kit and sell in their shop. Each shop is also given the task of designing a unique finishing kit using all 12 blocks, which will be sold in their shop.
How to Participate:
Go to patchworkparty2010.com for current information and to view previous Patchwork Parties. Click on the outer blocks and the link will take you to the corresponding participating shop to purchase that block. Once you’ve collected all 12 blocks, click on the Finishing Kit Gallery link, move your cursor over each thumbnail at the top of the page to view each shop’s finishing kit. Click on the thumbnails to go to corresponding shop and purchase kit. You can also print out a Planning Guide to keep yourself organized.
