Santa’s Workshop Quilt Retreat, hosted by Quilting by the Bay, was held this past weekend at the Comfort Inn. We had a great group of very productive ladies attend the retreat. Sewing machines were just buzzing away and multiple projects were completed. Man, could those girls sew! We had demos for the clothesline crafts technique using Hoffman Bali Pops, Secret Santa Christmas Stockings, fusible grid techniques, quick and easy pillowcases and Sue showed the girls how to make a really cool Spa Therapy neck/shoulder wrap to relax their tired sewing muscles. There were lots of treats and goodies and even Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings! yum!
