Demo Days at QBTB |

Join us Saturday, January 23rd at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm for our first Demo Day. Miss Kathy will be demonstrating tips and techniques for working with Cuddle fabric, including how she made the super cute quilt as you go cuddle quilts. Kathy will also show us applique techniques using YLI Wash-A-Way thread, which is easy to do and the results will give you a smooth edge to either machine stitch or hand applique. I just asked Kathy and she said she will do both demos at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. So, really its going to be a double demo day! |

Boxes, boxes and more boxes! We have been keeping the UPS man very busy lately. When we see him backing his truck up to the door we know it's going to be a big day for Sue! Poor Sue...her little fingers are aching from entering all of that inventory. But how exciting it is to open those boxes and see all of the new goodies arriving here at Quilting by the Bay. We have new colors and prints of Cuddle fabrics including animal prints, baby blue dimple, brown dimple, lime and Dark Turquoise. Nancy Halvorsen's latest collection Garden Song. Lots of new blenders from Buggy Barn including 2 new wide back fabrics. A Sweet little baby collection, Noah's Journey from Henry Glass. We have the Noah's Journey panel and the coordinating fabrics. We have also been getting new fabrics for our upcoming Block of the Month programs. Tricia is busy cutting and preparing the fabrics for Civil War Tribute, Americana Modern, Hop to It, Pies & Tarts and Muchas Poochas. She's just getting warmed up! If you haven't seen all of the new Block of the Month programs coming up take a peek here and hold on to your hat because we have a lot of beautiful Block of the Month programs planned. |

Garden Song Collection by Nancy Halvorsen The new Garden Song panel and coordinating fabric collection by Nancy Halvorsen arrived this week. The panel and fabrics are available online and in the shop. This is a beautiful spring collection just in time to cheer us up from the winter blues.
