Sunday – February 21, 2010 – Spectacular Color for Your Quilts
1:00-4:00pm Cost $25.00
Join this lecture as Judy discusses the color selection process she uses for several of her quilts. She will lay out the fabrics as she makes and explains the color choices that have given her award-winning results! Participants will be able to closely observe her methods and to learn to give their own quilts spectacular color!

Monday – February 22, 2010 – 1 full day Workshop
Cost $100.00
One-day workshops offer an introduction to the basic paper piecing techniques that
Judy teaches and uses in all her patterns. A one-day workshop will include 2 to 3 hours
of lecture and demonstrations. Students will have 3 to 4 hours of work time available
to practice foundation paper piecing techniques taught in class.
Judy will be teaching her newest patterns in the Monday class.
These patterns feature using the ever popular bali pops!
Thursday, February 25, 2010 – 1 full day Workshop
Cost $100.00
One-day workshops offer an introduction to the basic paper piecing techniques that Judy teaches and uses in all her patterns. A one-day workshop will include 2 to 3 hours
of lecture and demonstrations. Students will have 3 to 4 hours of work time available
to practice foundation paper piecing techniques taught in class.
Students can choose one of these gorgeous quilts:
Tuesday, February 23, 2010 and Wednesday, February 24, 2010
2 day Workshop
Cost $175.00
A two-day workshop gives the students a variety of quilt patterns from which to choose. Each student will have time in class to finish 1 or 2 of each foundation unit designed
and printed for their pattern selection. They will also have the opportunity to watch
demonstrations offered for each of the patterns selected for each group.
Several techniques that are taught in Judy’s two-day classes include: Strip piecing with
foundation paper, speed-cutting techniques designed for template layout sheets,
speed-cutting techniques used when cutting fabrics with templates, simple curved piecing
techniques for beginners and advance students. Judy also lectures on how and why to
design templates for foundation paper piecing. The two-day workshops include a
45 minute demonstration on easy machine appliqué techniques.
Students can choose from any of these beautiful quilts:
Friday, February 26 – Sunday, February 28, 2010
3 day Workshop
Cost $250
Each student will have time in class to finish 1 or 2 of each foundation unit designed
and printed for their pattern selection. They will also have the opportunity to watch
demonstrations offered for each of the patterns selected for each group. Three-day
workshops would also leave time for a color and design. Designing and extending
foundation pieced borders can also be taught in Judy’s three day work shops.
