Tired of wrestling with big quilts when quilting on your home machine? Now you can finish quilts easily and quickly by renting time on one of our Handi Quilter longarm machines at Quilting by the Bay's Longarm Center. This 3-hour class is a beginner hands-on class taught on our Handi Quilter longarm machines. Take this class if you want to be certified to operate our Handi Quilter longarms or if you just want to learn more about longarm quilting! You will learn how to prepare your top, batting, and backing, load your quilt, and the basics of operation the machine. You will learn basic free-motion quilting designs and how to quilt an overall pattern with a pantograph. By the end of class, you will be able to effectively operate our longarm with minimal assistance from the staff during your rental sessions. No supplies are needed for this class. This is our initial Longarm Certification Class. You will be able to schedule your first rental session at the conclusion of this class. NOTE: This class does not cover computerized quilting information. You will be certified for free-motion and pantograph quilting only
